Estate

    An estate in land or simply an estate, is the name of one of two land rights, the other type being an Interest in land. There are two types of estates: Freehold Estate and Leasehold Estate. The holder(s) of each estate gain rights to the land or property. Freeholders gain full ownership rights. Leaseholders and tenants, gain exclusive possession of the property for a specific amount of time.
